International Women's Day

It's almost the end of International Women's Day but before it's gone I wanted to chime in with a post. I recently took pictures of a restaurant called A Place at the Table in Raleigh, NC. I also wrote a short article about it in the Triangle Tribune HERE. 

What I found so incredible about this new pay-what-you-can restaurant is that it all started from the idea of a young woman, Maggie Kane. She saw the need for a place that serves good food to everyone, regardless of economic status, and then she saw that dream through. 

We live in a time when women can do so much. We can dream and we can work hard to make our dreams a reality. 

What an awesome example of using our womanly superpowers for good.
